The ever-growing need for ginger and turmeric
Ginger and turmeric are two plants that we spend a great deal of time and energy on. Much of our 2000 acre property is dedicated to growing these plants, which are used extensively right here in Hawaii and across the world.
Not only are they popular spices that are key components of many cultural dishes, but they also both have many holistic health benefits. Ginger and turmeric are constantly used in supplements to reduce inflammation and provide antioxidants, among other things.
Our fields offer Hawaiians a steady supply of these necessary spices and make money for our state by selling the excess as well.
